Been to a job fair in the last 8 months? The line to talk to a recruiter is a mile long, even at PDT.
At Sun N Fun last month Piedmont had 2 booths. One in the career fair tent and an additional booth in one of the exhibitor big hangars. I didn't see anything resembling lines a mile long at PDT, let alone any of the other airlines recruiting there. The numerous reps at each booth were available relatively quick for anyone who wanted to bend their ear.
