Are they hiring anyone outside of their programs that don't already have the ATP-CTP complete? That's the question.

That’s my point man, PDT recruiting/ “leadership” thinks they can be overly selective with hiring FO’s. Meanwhile, line operations literally melt down when a thunderstorm passes through CLT or PHL and there’s zero reserves. CP’s are sending out critical pay notices for FO’s on the daily. The industry has definitely shifted towards more experience, I just disagree that PDT is in any position to be more restrictive, and people should invest $10k to work here versus another regional. PDT is just being cheap.

At Sun N Fun last month Piedmont had 2 booths. One in the career fair tent and an additional booth in one of the exhibitor big hangars. I didn't see anything resembling lines a mile long at PDT, let alone any of the other airlines recruiting there. The numerous reps at each booth were available relatively quick for anyone who wanted to bend their ear.
