Additionally, there is no way the company agrees to PTO without blackout dates, which renders it worthless. Pilots' families can get sick over PWA holidays, things can be going on in pilots' lives over holidays, and we know damn well Delta will never give up the control they are accustomed to with open-ended PTO. No-questions-asked use of sick time/PTO is a mirage in the Delta management desert.
