why we make it so hard on ourselves is beyond me. just wear the uniform with the best compliance to the fom you can muster. common sense exceptions like a lost item apply, obviously. this job is so ****ing easy and a few people make it so hard for no reason. it’s like they’re caged animals pacing just to feel something
Clearly egregious offenders need to be dealt with, but it’s an odd choice to choose uniform compliance to focus on at this point in time. Recently Delta has spent years and tens of millions of dollars on uniform refreshers for FA’s, pilots, gate/ticketing agents and ground personnel. They have completely botched every one of them. If there are problems with uniform compliance, it might be time for management to look inward. It’s bad form to put management incompetence on public display and then choose to punish the employees.
