Well, what are they going to give up for that? There’s a reason why it’s survived so many contract cycles.
There’s also a reason why the company is voluntarily pulling back its GFB usage.
Just like all negotiations, each side will cost it out.
And just like all negotiations, some changes will affect individual pilots disproportionally depending on one's life perspectives and BES. For some, a change can be good for others the same change can defuse their whole bidding/sharp-shooting strategy.
