By 2024 we were supposed to originally have 80+ airplanes, and over 100 by 2025. As you can see we missed our mark by some accord. Originally management was planning to keep the Ejets longer, or get more of them, but they went the other way and we don’t have nearly the A220s we hoped to get. We are hiring now because finally we are getting a few new planes (which are trash and stay in maintenance facilities to correct corrosion problems), and to cover attrition. If you’re young and want an airline career, either try and get the Airbus so you can actually build experience to leave, or go to a regional and do that route. You’ll sit around for years on the Ejet on indefinite reserve. 2022 hires are still on reserve
