I remember right after merger, that scumbag Lee Moak gave the company contract relief for higher ALV’s in short-staffed category thus limiting premium pay. Piece of **** that guy was.
I remember that dick move. I was M88B and was flying with As on 2nd GS, while I was flying an 85 hour hard line with no availability for premium all summer. That was when lines were worse and credit ate up the trips with 30 hours in a hotel away from home so 12 days off. I think 117 would prevent the CP jetway recruitment. Also we were way understaffed in new hire cats. The rest of the operation seemed ok. That's what happens when you wait too long to start hiring.
