The problem is that the company isn’t complying with the relatively harsh penalty that already exists (triple pay). Management would be happy to let ALPA negotiate away auto accept, in exchange for an even greater penalty that they still won’t comply with.
We can’t take the bait. Our first focus should be on bringing the 23.M.7 enforcement rate as close to 100% as possible — via automation.
