The problem with VAS is that airport standby is a miserable job, fatiguing, and can too easily become non-voluntary in the future.

You know how scheduling can find the perfect trip a minute before your SC expires? Imagine the same thing after sitting around the airport for hours. It's not becoming of this profession.
