The 764 seats are comfy, but they were originally designed to be full suites with a full closing door. Again a contract was signed with the cheapest bidder that hadn’t actually achieved certification yet and the FAA came back and said no, that design isn’t allowed. The 764 refurb went 2 years longer than planned mostly due to that.

Nope it’s a customer configuration regarding placement of overhead bins (or lack thereof). The gaspers are a pretty simple hookup, but again requires a competent design.
