At any point while you are still on LC scheduling can alter your schedule. This of course still requires proper notification from scheduling, and if they are assigning you a rotation then a live scheduler must call you.

So to sum up - a future assignment of SC or a rotation isn't actually locked in until you enter your PWA-mandated rest period prior to report time. That's not to say that scheduling can't or won't try to make changes to your schedule once you are in rest, but anything they do will blow up in their face because you aren't notified of anything. I've had this happen a couple of times where within 18 hours of a SC period they tried to remove it and put me into 30 hours rest. Each time scheduling did that it ended up costing them 4-5 days of LC availability by the time they finally sorted things out.
