Once the GS process starts, is it contractually permissible that CS can stop the process and revert back to W and Y slips?
It’s green, so I assume they can do whatever they want. Just some odd timing observed on the GS seniority progression suddenly stopping 60+ minutes after the initial ARCOS call, trip still in open time, then being awarded to a pilot that submitted a different color slip.
Never seen that before.
Not sure it's allowed, but I've definitely seen it happen. Got called for an OOBGS and see later that it was covered by an IBGS not long after my call.
