Part of my original point was that IFE screens are weight. Weight means less seats (and less revenue opportunity). Wifi is relatively weightless as comparted to new seats w/ screens, less maintenance and much easier to install. If we built a customer base that knew we had reliable wifi, they would bring their own IFE and fly us more often.
Improvement really isn't that far away. A first class seat option (coming), better customer service via the app, ticket counter and at the gate (hopefully coming) and wifi (not really scheduled) would increase our customer base tremendously.
Keep in mind, for those who think NK's customers will fly us - they have 2 of the 3 things above (and still have a bad rep).
