United also sends of the 319s to smaller destinations. DSM, GRB, TYS, CID, FAR etc. I don't see, personally, a NEO (and likely never an XLR) getting sent to places like that. They'll use a guppy 800 to replace it.

Just my two cents, there is far larger future for Boeing NB than Airbus NB in the next 5-10 years. A smaller fleet, a pilot friendly aircraft, with highly desirable flying will get stagnant and stay senior.

I think it will be a mixed bag. The longer range stuff won’t appeal to many (me included). But the fleet as a whole is already somewhat stagnant. I don’t see that changing even with the addition of new aircraft.
