United also sends of the 319s to smaller destinations. DSM, GRB, TYS, CID, FAR etc. I don't see, personally, a NEO (and likely never an XLR) getting sent to places like that. They'll use a guppy 800 to replace it.
Just my two cents, there is far larger future for Boeing NB than Airbus NB in the next 5-10 years. A smaller fleet, a pilot friendly aircraft, with highly desirable flying will get stagnant and stay senior.
Kirby recently told an upgrade class that the A350s were still on the table. Something to do with the engine deal that was signed years ago is below market value.
