I realize with multiple types and domestic vs international changes it up a lot but what is a realistic junior type reserve schedule? I have read 14/28 mentioned. Is that chopped into blocks of days on/off? If so what does that look like for a junior FO, one that might commute? What’s the longest stretch of trips one might be looking at?

It depends on fleet and domicile....but generally speaking, reserve lines that go junior tend to be choppy in their pattern. RSV is 14 out of 28 days each pay period or 28 days in a 56 day bid period. The last couple years they've gotten very potpourri in reserve line patterning; you could do short block where you do 3-4 RSV days every single week, or you could have 3-4 blocks ranging between 3 and 14 days of reserve duty - even domestically.
On VTOR (tertiary lines), reserve patterns tend to also be irregular although at least on my fleet they seem to have a *bit* more symmetry and week on/off-esque patterns.
