Munoz did a good job of changing the culture, but knew very little about the airline business. Under Munoz and before Kirby arrived Julia Haywood was the Chief Commercial Officer from Boston Consulting. She wanted to de-hub IAD, DEN and or LAX. She was heading back to Boston Consulting six months after Kirby arrived and obviously he took United in the opposite direction. He also got rid of Andrew Levy the CFO from Allegiant who is now the CEO at Avelo.

I agree with that. United has always had the best route structure especially after getting EWR in the merger with CAL. Unfortunately, it was grossly mismanaged and underdeveloped until Kirby and his network team took over. And when it comes to more RJs and Tumi TAs the pilots and their union needs to just say, NO!
