We may never achieve legacy pay, but the closer we get to them, the better it is for EVERYONE in the industry. If you are at a legacy you should want us to get pay as close to you as possible. You do not want a couple of airlines making so much less than you. Why? If you think for a moment the legacies are never going to hit a bump ever again, you should really take a good look at the history of the industry. When they hit a bump again, and your management ask for concessions, guess what airline they are going to use as the bar to lower your rates to? Instead of having a chip on your shoulder about how much you get paid, maybe next time we have a picketing session, come join us. It will benefit you in the long term.
I work at F9. I understand pattern bargaining and likewise share your frustration with other pilot groups looking down on us.

I’m also a realist. This company will not concede to paying us appropriately for half a decade. That’s thousands of seniority numbers at a proper airline job ****ed away. I’m good. I’m out.
