I have a friend who is faced with this situation and is concerned about the gap between an event like this occurring based upon a CJO and PRIA request going out to his current employer.

Several questions if known by the experts on here:

1. When is the PRIA request triggered and sent out by Flexjet to current/ past employers?
2. Realizing the PRIA must be completed prior to the first 135 flight with FJ or any new employer, would Flex Jet delay a PRIA request to a timeframe much closer to the starting of indoctrination/simulator training? In other words, would they wait until the pilot is at least on property and getting paid by FJ but well before the first 135 flight?
3. When would be the right time to bring up this dilemma to the FJ interview team?

I've heard of this happening quite often by operators with some of their most trusted and respected employees but it happens enough in my mind to think this scenario is not unusual for a company the size of FJ. Just curious how they can handle it so my friend is not sandbagged by his current employer and left with no income for several weeks/months.

Thanks in advance for the answer.
My company got a PRIA before I started at FJ, yes it caused a lot of issues.
