And, concerning the rest issue.... If the capt doesn't want to look up the other crewmembers trip, or jsut doesn't know how because he hasn't used the system, they could just ask. A person could be tired after just 1 flight. I didn't land last night until 230am after a 12.5 hour duty day, and I still was wide awake. Asking would sure do the trick.
Where on Maestro and how do you bring up someone elses line? Not on SBS?
I suppose you have a valid point. You can ask. I guess now a more detailed briefing may be required. (Have you flown in the past 30 days, Vacation, sick, etc? Have they been using you a lot on reserve?
Or how about newhire FO's that really aren't sure if they are given a legal assignment? For all they know, they are legal because scheduling gave it to them. However they are 3 weeks off of IOE and aren't up to par on the contract.
