Hardly ever sit reserve, but I'm on RSV this month and had something interesting take place. 5 minutes into SC yesterday and I get a call from CS for what I assume is to assign me a trip. The scheduler asks if I would take a day turn (I have 3 days of availability) that reports in 30 minutes. I clarified she was asking not assigning me. She said yes, she was asking, and if I didn't take it, the rotation would have to go out as an IA...... My question are they allowed to even ask. This sounds like fishing to violate the PWA and find someone that will go above and beyond....

For those of you that sit RSV, is this normal these days? Never had this happen in my 11 years here. Granted I don't sit reserve much these days....
