Delta Air Lines’ President Saw The Future 20 Years Ago And Laid It Out

Here's a good reminder of where Delta has been and how Glenn's vision helped get us to where we are now. The article from 2006 is a good one and reminds us that Delta's future was far from a given. Many had written Delta off in bankruptcy and doubted whether it would emerge at all, much less become the powerhouse that it is now. I got lucky and was hired at the end of 2007, soon after Delta exited bankruptcy and before the NWA merger was announced. Delta wasn't my first choice but it was the first to offer a class date. Better lucky than good! The comments from the 2006 Airline Forum thread are pretty good too.
