In Honolulu yes... still need to go to a customer service counter. You'll also need (not really hut good luck convincing a gate agent otherwise) a listing even as OAL. Outstations generally can clear you at the gate but they still want a listing. If you get Alaska agents working the flight, 50-50 they know how to do anything beyind scan tickets to get passengers boarded.
