A short history of outsourcing at Delta:
1. Post 9/11, call centers were moved to India. When RA took over, call centers were moved back to the US in under 2 years.
2. CEO's: The last CEO who was brought in with zero experience running an airline was L. Mullin (1997-2004).
Extremely non-definitive and cherry-picking to the max.
I suppose outsourcing some things might make sense. Above my pay grade.
