They know that, so they do this instead, to get as close to discipline as possible without making it actual, grievable discipline. Their goal is to reduce sick usage and it will probably work in that regard.
I think it’s been said, but my point is that this kind of thing tends to galvanize and unite the pilot group, and ends up backfiring on management. Thats why it’s misguided.
The juice really isn’t worth their squeeze, but they cannot help themselves.
