You called in fatigued because you were fatigued. Not because you had a personal issue.
A personal issue would be “My wife didn’t want me to work today, so I called in fatigued for my turn.”
I would absolutely fight for your report to be included and paid. Otherwise, it sets a bad precedent for the entire pilot group.
