Seniority is like a spring, it gets wound tighter and tighter over time until the tension is released in rapid fashion. Hiring & upgrades have potential to release the seniority pressure that Denver and the west coast has been under for the last 2 years.
I've seen it play out before, it usually takes about 3-4 months or 250 new hires before everyone but the new hires will end up where they want to be. I’d be surprised if we don’t see a few new hires in Denver by the end of this summer.
at this point id hope youre right but I really feel either they will continue to add pilots to other bases or open another one late fall/winter.
