Bonus fact: if you acknowledge the pre-posted rest, if you then make a move that negates the rest and they remove it they are then required to officially notify you. Case in point: I had a pre-posted 30 hour rest period which I acknowledged. I then dropped an IVD right before that rest. The 30 hour rest was subsequently removed but I was never notified and I didn’t fly a trip to have a required schedule check. You can imagine how that blew up in their face when they tried to assign something while I was in acknowledged rest
