I've had to call off for childcare/family illness. The vast majority of the interactions have been incredible, except one. It was one of the most disrespectful interactions I've ever had here with someone who was stunningly ignorant of even the most basic concepts on how PD/APDs work.
This and other examples here are why we need a separate PTO bank. I put it in my survey and more folks should be talking about it as well.
