I could see closing OAK and opening SMF. I think SAN looks good on paper....until the rwy is closed or they're landing 9 and turns that airport into a parking lot. IMO, not smart to have a single runway airport as a major airline base...which means they'll do it...because Alaska did. I think SAN might actually help fix some displacements out west though. MCI or STL would help thin the displacement list too.
