But the SC is an assignment. They don't have to award you a GS if you already have a RES assignment on the same day (including SC.)
FWIW I'm citing SRH pg 49:
"A reserve pilot will be awarded a same-day GS without regard to a reserve assignment already on their schedule for the next two days, i.e., a reserve rotation, short call, or YS award.
o Similarly, a reserve pilot will be awarded a next-day GS without regard to a reserve assignment already on their schedule for the following day."
I'm currently struggling to find the PWA reference for this, but I'm quite sure it exists.
I'll have to check the PWA because I had a similar situation last night where I acknowledged GS and was subsequently rejected because they did not want to drop the SC the next day (or the automation wouldn't let them). Apparently keeping someone on SC on a 1 day bucket was more important than filling a 3 day GS and then sending it out of base.
