Hoover I’m with you. Being out for nearly a year on LOA was a good exercise in reflection. It was the first time I ran out of currency on an airplane in over 30 years and found “hmm I actually have other interests.” LOL.
If they are going to reduce the lines and speak out both sides of their mouth, I’m fine with giving a trip away instead of picking up extra. I have one mortgage and that’s it—time to enjoy life instead of waiting for retirement to do it.

Yes! Don't wait until you are 65 to enjoy being a top 1 percent earner. My vacation-a-palooza starts in March and pretty much goes with a few interruptions right into fall. Booked business class seats to Europe and working on Japan as well. Plan on eating our way across both places. Enjoy your life! Buy the jet ski! Don't be an idiot!
