When this contract was TA'd, this wasn't even in the top 100 things I wanted fixed. Same with assign seating. Both provisions were really not at least on my radar. Company has been flexing bases for fifty plus years. Its a key productivity tool that has its advantages to the company because of the single fleet type. Now they are exploiting it. That ain't right. Scary part is they are willing to pay for moving. This will not be fixed by flight ops. This has to go to BJ or AW. SWAPA has nothing to stand on contractually.

Company reports after the bell. They normally give guidance on what the fleet plans are for the year. Boeing reported yesterday and gave some pretty good guidance on deliveries and color on the 7 and 10. The 10 has been giving TIA and it's flying a lot. Boeing now believes the 7 will be certified in early summer vs late summer and the 10 in late summer. Boeing has on their books to deliver four max 7's in December to SWA. It will be nice to hear SWA side of this. we'll see.
Guess shooting a email to Watterson can't hurt....asking for them to cover hotels indefinitely would prob go over like a fart in church....but there's no reason they can't sign a MOU whereby all vacancies are subject to DRR...If the company needs 3 butts in the seat because 3 left...do they really care where the 3 are coming from?

I hear you on the productivity...but our lines have been trash since the Max grounding. You might have a high block day on part of the trip, but I haven't had a trip beat the rig without LCO in months (I've been on rsv so might be part of it). I remember back in '17/18 you could have a 17 day off line that paid over 100....everything now is basically 87/89.
