According to the ALPA email a pilot undergoing cancer treatment received one as did a pilot who lost a child & parent within the last 6 months. That is absolutely terrible, they deserve a hand written apology letter now.
ALPA and my LEC did more for me than Delta ever did when I lost my child a couple years back… at least Ed sent flowers and an e-signed card.
