As a mil guy, I think you’re underestimating the level of disdain many mil pilots had for their leadership teams when they were in. The majority of mil pilots are guys who did their min time and punched…and the vast majority saw behind the curtain at how they (the collective “they”) were treated by their leadership.
Spineless leadership, confusing decisions, undermining and questioning of pilots decisions…those aren’t exclusive to the airlines.
Nailed it. While there’s company sympathizers of all backgrounds, most of the most militant anti-company DL pilots I know were prior military (once past their first year or so).
