As a fellow PARBee, I waited 3 weeks, (over a holiday period) but I don't think it held me up in class. My class had the majority of the people I interviewed with in it. One person from my interview group was in class a week behind me. Said he was not PARBed and we couldn't figure out a good reason why he started a week later. Just luck of the draw I guess.

Best of luck, it's stressful for sure.

A related question - I'm guessing priority for a class date is tied to the date of the CJO still, and not clearing the PARB? Thanks.
I was not parbed but my background check took longer than my friend. He interviewed a week after me and was in class the week before me. So presumably not based on CJO but actual approval to work or something.

Class date priority is tied to a lot more than date of CJO. If you work for a certain regiOOnal, you might get metered months later than your fellow interviewees. Same for how long it takes to sort out your post-CJO paperwork.

Interesting. But that just makes it feel more urgent to hear back soon! No metering concerns, as I'm at a ULCC. And other requirements should be straightforward. Squeaky clean background with a history of many checks. But then again, I never thought I'd be flagged to begin with so I guess you never know...
