If you check your after invoking the 2 hour non-contact, then you have void'ed the 2 hour non contact.

Look at the daily trip coverage....or have a buddy look at your schedule....neither of those required viewing your actual icrew schedule, so it preserves the non contact.

You got a source for that? SRH page 102 states (bold is my emphasis):

"At any point prior to the end of the two-hour period, the pilot may inform Crew Scheduling that they are now available for contact or check their schedule and, if no assignment has been made, will then be required to be “promptly available” as described above."
