Agreed. What in the world is going on in ATL tonight? Many planes waiting almost 3 hours for a gate!
Popup hailstorm after an earlier ramp closure. Loooong conga line got blasted by hail, all of which needed inspection. Traffic jam just to get back to a gate, if one was assigned. Crews timing out, no reroute/IA crews available at 2200L led to mass cancellations with no remaining flights for all those folks to flex to.
