Given the high volume of short flights we do all across the SE US it won’t at all surprise me if we have a serious incident or two this summer due to a crew getting caught in bad weather that they couldn’t get a clear picture of with just the forward scanning on board radar.
Back in my RJ days we flew a plethora of CRJ200 flights out of ATL, and yet magically managed without any WIfi. Sure its not ideal, but it's definitely manageable.
