Did you fly the F-15C?
The F-15E is a multi-role
fighter, as is the F-16 and F-18, and retains all the air to air capabilities of the F-15C (and it could be argued has more, with the targeting pod). Note: I said capability, not proficiency. Also, BFM is a different animal, depending on whether we are talking -100, -220, -229, -129 engines. Additionally, the F-15EX blows all the capability of legacy eagles away.
