This isn't good for the Eagle's previously unblemished air comabt record lol...
The "Eagle" still has an unblemished record. The "strike eagle" does not. Different jet, different qual, twice as many people on the jet. Don't know what the dude in back does.

Yes I know, it was a joke, strike eagle is a bomber.

Blue on blue doesn't count anyway. Unless maybe you actually fought back and still lost

Did you fly the F-15C?

Yep, and we're still undefeated. Yeah, I know you were joking but I keep seeing people say this and some aren't joking.

The F-15E is a multi-role fighter, as is the F-16 and F-18, and retains all the air to air capabilities of the F-15C (and it could be argued has more, with the targeting pod). Note: I said capability, not proficiency. Also, BFM is a different animal, depending on whether we are talking -100, -220, -229, -129 engines. Additionally, the F-15EX blows all the capability of legacy eagles away.

Also, it’s 106-0 now…. After a pair of fencers were shot downed by 2 Qatari Strike Eagles…

I don’t know about now, but once upon a time they were giving fighter squadrons a primary, secondary, and even tertiary DOC (mission) assignment. Everybody was pretty good on their primary, fair to tolerable on their secondary, but by the time you got=around to their tertiary, well, pretty much all your flight and training time had been devoted to the first couple DOCs and most of that to the first one. So yeah, proficiency really did matter, even when you were nominally multirole.

3 tours here; we maintained proficiency in A/A and A/G in the F-15E. Normal A/G mission started with 4vX or 2vX A/A (beyond visual range) scenarios followed by either a low or med altitude ingress into a target area to drop precision munitions. We generally flew 2.3 hour sorties so no problems doing both mission sets on a normal training flight. We also flew visual A/A (BFM and ACM) 1v1, 2v1 and 2v2 to practice close in engagements using all missile types and the gun. The F-15E is a very capable self escort fighter platform day, night, all wx.
