8 hours sleep opportunity for me is 10 hours from key in hand to van time minimum. Longer if I need to eat.
And that 10 hours don't start until after I've gotten a hold of tracking/accommodation to delay pickup.
I have a bunch of medical crap I usually have to deal with, and I can't just show up in room, hang uniform and flop on bed. I have to set up machine, then shower then sleep then wake up early eno to wake up, deal with medical equipment cleaning, shave shower, iron shirt etc.
