OOBWS slips are always proffers right? So those are safe with auto accept, but what about in base? IIRC it’s only same day/next day but when is the earliest time you can safely update the slip without the danger of it just getting added to your schedule? Local time/mecca time? 0700 PCS? Does dropping as much as he can help? TIA gurus.
Apologies in advance for my friend, he’s a little slow and his line skills are rusty

. He’s not top one percent either but can’t win the lotto if you don’t play……
Yes, OOBWS are always proffers, so you can input one 'blanket' for the month just like a GS.
For in base, the key is to remember that you
need to be inside the trip coverage sequence for a WS for it to be a proffer. So, since today is Tuesday, after the 0700 PCS run is complete, you can safely input WS for trips
starting Thursday. (Or, you can also input them anytime after the 2200 PCS run the night before so long as you do
NOT say yes to the "award on 0700 PCS run" drop down).
You need to input a different slip for each length trip. As a technique, I input the 1-day WS in slot 11, and the 2-day WS in slot 12 for ease of tracking. That way I can still put in a specific WS in front of the 'proffer' slips. Also, for ease of input, put the start date as the first day of the bid period, then you never need to update that field - just change the 'end' date.
For example, in slot 11, today put in a WS which is from "2 Mar-19 Mar", limited to calendar day of trip to "01". Add any other qualifiers like "volunteer for verification flight" to limit/capture all possibilities. Then tomorrow, just go in and change the "19" to a "20". For the 2-day WS, today input "02 Mar - 20 Mar", limited to calendar day of trip to "02". And so on.
Hope that helps. May the odds be in your favor.
