Going to echo the sentiment. If you’re not concerned with building time to get out then just bid closest to home. Or move to base.
If your goal is to fly for a legacy take the easiest commute to a base like ATL and fly your ass off. Commuting sucks but the only reason I’m at a legacy now while my peers grovel about not getting legacy interviews, is because I sucked it up and commuted for 6 months until I could hold a line in my base.
Commuting is every bit as bad as people say it is. But looking back the hours were worth it. You want the best qualifications and hours as possible when the legacies are looking at their applicants as you never know when you’ll hit that magic number.
If you’re unconcerned with making it to the next level as fast as you can then just bid to be near home.
