Let's see now....I bought a 737 for my business or family use....We're obviously not going to be using very small airports in uber-remote areas....So, should I hire a guy with thousands of hours in type or, should I hire a guy whose been flying a Citation/Lear/Hawker etc.... just because he's been in the corporate flying world? And by the way, most "1 week, 15 stop" trips are planned with a little help from a company like Universal or ARINC. You've been doing this how long? And this is the attitude you have? I bet you're a peach to live with on those trips.

If that’s your (the hypothetical person you’re portraying) desire, then you better not buy into a company with a union (which NetJets has), because a union won’t allow cutting to the front of the line. The union members who chose that company early (NetJets as it may be) aren’t going to allow someone from the airlines, a different fractional, or from anywhere else to cut in front of them without paying dues to THEIR company.

Right or wrong, it’s a fact of life.

Now for a private company with a single plane... sure, but only if the Chief Pilot likes the guy. And I doubt you’re going to meet many Chief Pilots of small corporate gigs on APC... but it could happen...
