There is no GSWC for a reservist. The GS is able to wipe out an assignment if it is a day earlier, as CBreezy explained:

RWC is an entirely different animal. It's CS robbing Peter to pay Paul. They have a trip in open time that is more urgent than the one that you currently have on your reserve line. You credit of the greater of the 2 trips (not that credit matters unless you fill up). There are no PB days, and no pay above guarantee. But there is a chance to be (ab)used less on LC days. Utivich, you make that deal?
Recently I got assigned a crappy 3-day trip, about 1+ day in advance. I had a blanket RWC slip in. Some time later, (once inside the 24 hours to report), I got a live call from a scheduler with a proffer to replace that trip, (Reserve with Conflict)
with an easier 2-day.
Waste more LC days and work less?
