We have been way overstaffed on the Saab for a while. They simply didn't get the word to stop the hiring at least onto the Saab when they should have. Bringing in all the street captains was completely unneeded.
They probably should build lines back to 90 hours block and start furloughing. I think you are partly correct, but I don't see the senior pilots for a given base/seat complaining about the days off.
