The US is investing heavily into nuclear and the current administration is giving them the tools to do it regarding streamlining permitting. I have a family member that is working obscene hours on a leading SMR project.
I do see that and it is about time. I drive an electric car but it is kind of a buzz kill that when I plug it in at night it is recharged from a coal plant.
