Yep, some updates from the flight ops group at velvet today:
The VP of crew resources was almost openly hostile at times. She admitted the removal of PB days was punitive and accused those who wash PB days of racketeering. Yes she actually used the word racketeering.
It’s our fault our operation sucks because our take rate on slips is too low.
The company is paying 23 million a month in 23M7
Sick leave letters were necessary because “something had to be done”
Some flights are going back to RJs because our take rate on Saturdays is too low.
Pre posted rest is here to stay.
Finally realized we need to hire(again solely because of our bad behavior) and will onboard 200 a month for the rest of the year and into early 2027.
HT seems to be a very angry person. Not the kind of person you want managing even a 7-11. Yet here she is.
