Any open flying that doesn't hit OT can be assigned to the VAS. So all these 2 hour notice trips that hit OT, could have gone straight to the VAS. What am I missing? I guess if they are just gonna triple pay the rotation, then VAS is a bad thing as it would cut down on the 4 pilots being rerouted to cover 1 turn like they do now, and also on late notice OT additions that end up going out triple pay.
